One solution for every client is an outdated notion. At Sora Group, we see every client as unique and separate ourselves from other firms by providing customized solutions that put our clients first.

Our founder, the late S.R. “Russ” Isaac, created the first independent mutual fund distributor in Canada. For 40 years, he did business on a handshake and in 2002 launched our firm. Drawing on 40 years experience and a pioneering attitude, he created a truly independent firm in Sora Group.

We chose the name Sora to reflect our attitude to our clients. The Spanish verb ‘atesora’, which means to treasure, describes how important our clients are to us.

Sora continues to grow due to our principles of honesty, trust and integrity and the unique products and services we provide.
